Strasbourg, France 25Jun2011

This was another fun day trip for the Larsen clan. Strasbourg is about 1 1/2 hour away from our home here. It is a beautiful old city and we had a lot of fun together as a family for the day. I need to add a picture of a great double level carousel that was the children's favorite thing. We are trying our best to enjoy each moment we have here in Europe.

Strasbourg Cathedral

Flying buttresses. If you look closely you can see the gargoyles.

Climbing the tower stairs to the top of the cathedral. It was quite a workout on Alan's hips carrying Grant on his back.

View from top of cathedral looking down at the main square.

Statue of Johannes Gutenberg. He was living in Stasbourg at the time he invented movable type in 1439.

The lock system was quite interesting.

View of the cathedral from a distance.

After a long day it was time to sit down and have Indian food in France.
